Frequent questions
Some jewels are made of stainless steel, others of 925 silver, and both are hypoallergenic materials.
Stainless steel jewelry does not change its color with use, resists corrosion and tarnishing.
925 silver jewels can, depending on the pH of the skin or their care, oxidize and change color, but with specific products they can be cleaned.
You can clean your jewelry with:
- A damp cloth: pass it gently over the surface of the jewel, in order to clean it thoroughly.
- Soap and water: get two basins full of hot water and add a few drops of neutral dish soap to one of these. Then moisten the corner of a microfiber cloth and rub the jewel, following the texture of the metal.
After this operation, rinse the jewel in the second bowl, eliminating any soap residue.
- Specific products: the most effective result is obtained with specific products for the oxidation of jewels, also available in supermarkets.
